Basement
Collections Storage Room-large open space featuring both compactor shelves and an area for three-dimensional art works to be stored safely.
Collections Research Laboratory/Work Room-flexible work space with direct access to the Collections Storage Room that will be used for collection care and maintenance as well as research. Features of the room include a sink with both hot and cold water and plenty of work surfaces.
Other basement/project considerations-connector hallways to existing basement, HVAC, cooling tower, freight elevator, and a telecom room.
First Floor
Public Gallery-engagement space for museum visitors to view the Arnold Collection featuring movable walls and high quality lighting that especially highlights 3D art.
Other first floor considerations-required public spaces including but not limited to restrooms, elevator access, and a PA system to enhance public events. |
