| The Academic Sciences Building will be a new three story structure and basement with approximately 131,000 GSF located in the historic district of the Lubbock campus. The facility will include research and teaching laboratory space for the Departments of Geosciences, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Psychological Sciences. Associated offices, laboratory support spaces, classrooms, collaboration and student success spaces will be incorporated as well as all ancillary space to accommodate support of the facility. Exterior enhancements include a new courtyard that showcases a historical IGOR telescope from the White Sands Missile Range. |
