- Eric J. MacLaughlin, professor and chair, School of Pharmacy
- Simon C. Williams, associate professor, School of Medicine
Distinguished Research Awards
- Kendra P. Rumbaugh, associate professor, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and School of Medicine
- Phil S. Sizer, professor and associate dean, School of Health Professions
The Chancellor’s Council helps advance the important work of the ×ÔοÊÓƵ System and its four component institutions – , , and .
The Chancellor’s Council was created in 1967 as the President’s Council to recognize donors who helped Texas Tech accomplish its highest goals. The program was renamed and expanded in 1996 with the establishment of the ×ÔοÊÓƵ System. Today, the Chancellor’s Council plays a vital role in creating opportunities for all four universities. The council supports student scholarships, faculty awards and top scholar recruitment.
Award recipients each receive a $5,000 stipend and an engraved medallion.
