Chancellor Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D., issued Wednesday (June 10) the following update to the 自慰视频 Administration on the plans for a safe and healthy return to the 自慰视频 System Building and other work locations.
Letter from Chancellor Mitchell:
I hope you and your loved ones are doing well.
As you know, this week has started our phased-in return for the Texas Tech University System Administration to the 自慰视频 System Building and our work locations, and I want to thank you for your commitment to ensuring our work environment is safe and supportive for all who are coming back after months of working remotely.
Those of you who have already been back in the 自慰视频 System Building may have noticed things are a little different than when we left. Departments are in new office locations, new team members are now in the 自慰视频 System Building with their colleagues, and we are practicing new health, safety, and operational guidelines amidst the ongoing pandemic.
At this time, the 自慰视频 System Building and other work locations are in Phase III operations and are functioning at approximately 25 percent workforce capacity. More specific guidelines regarding our workforce capacity and phases, health and safety protocols, building operations and access and travel guidelines鈥攁mong other areas鈥攈ave been outlined in a for the 自慰视频 Administration.
While developing our plans for a safe return with our vice chancellors and executive leadership, we have followed recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Texas Department of State Health Services and local city policies. This collaboration is allowing us to return with confidence having learned from the last few months and dedicated to making this next transition as smooth as possible.

We are committed to providing a safe return-to-work environment for everyone on our team, and we will need your help to ensure our success. Returning to our work locations requires us all to show empathy, be compassionate, and take our health and safety seriously. We must all do our part to take care of each other, and by doing so, we can live our of taking care of our community and putting people first.
